NCAA bracket update 2010

NCAA bracket update 2010 has St. Mary's upsetting Villanova. The 2010 NCAA bracket updates for Saturday are already surprising, as Villanova was a No. 2 seed playing against the No. 10 seeded guys from Saint Mary's.
The result was exactly what Cinderella fans were looking for in the 2010 NCAA Tournament, as Saint Mary's won the game 75 to 68 to advance to the 2010 NCAA Sweet Sixteen. It was an amazing showing for St. Mary's, and could possibly be considered the biggest win in school history.

The Saturday NCAA bracket update 2010 was supposed to just be the next chapter towards the Elite Eight for Villanova, but they met up against a team that was hungry to be recognized. Saint Mary's came out strong, and have a nice 38 to 31 lead at halftime. Villanova made the second half run expected from every team in these tournament games, but it just wasn't enough to get past the much tougher St. Mary's team on this day. Now Saint Mary's advances to the 2010 NCAA Sweet Sixteen, and takes a huge step towards the regional finals.

One of the heroes for Saint Mary's on Saturday was center Omar Samhan, who had helped the Saint Mary's Gaels to a WCC Tournament Championship. Now he is trying to take them to another level, posting 32 points on just 13 for 16 shooting in 32 minutes of play. His presence on the offensive end was very impressive, and now the WCC Tournament champions have achieved yet another goal for their school and fans. Saint Mary's played their tournament game exactly like they needed to, and now they await the name of their opponent next week in the 2010 NCAA Tournament.
